Notes: Auxiliary - New-style drive belt designed for greater contact with alternator pulley. Can be used on models that used old-style belt routing (850 models, 93 & later up to eng#554663; 92-94 960 models) if belt is installed to place center idler pulley between p/steering pump and alternator (new routing) rather than alternator and air cond compressor (old routing). 850 models later than those above already have the new-style belt & use the new routing. Install belt as noted & tension as usual. No other changes needed!
